MECP issues Basic Installer, Advanced Installer, Master Installer and Mobile Product Specialist certifications to mobile electronics professionals who pass a written exam and meet the professional experience criteria. Using the textbook Diversified Health Occupations by Louise Simmers, we will study the foundations of and explore a variety of health career pathways.Lessons will include topics such as systems and careers in health care, legal and ethical responsibilities, anatomy and physiology, human growth and development, nutrition, infection control, vital signs, first aid and safety.
This unit of study will serve as a strong foundation for students planning to study for their Licensed Nursing Assistant certification.
The study of Medical Terminology takes place during Level II of the Health Careers Program. This course is part of "Project Running Start" with River Valley Community College and Students who choose to enroll and complete the course with a grade of "B" or above will be awarded three (3) fully transferable college credits.
